This poster series is inspired by the Art Deco movement, which aimed to elevate the decorative arts to a higher level through sleek geometry, symmetry, and elegance. When creating these posters, I focused on capturing the clean, refined aesthetic that defines the style blending bold shapes, subtle textures, and a sense of sophistication. The series was created digitally, with one of the posters also printed using a Riso printer to experiment with texture and layering in a more tactile way. This project was developed in response to Legacy, a graphic design conference I attended that encouraged us to explore historic design movements and reinterpret them through a contemporary lens. It was a great opportunity to blend past and present in a meaningful way.
